Fits battery widths up to 6.9". Center-to-center mounting hole spacing must be 7.875".
Taller batteries may require longer J-hooks, usually available at most auto parts stores.
With the vehicle off, follow your vehicle's battery-service precautions. Remove the hold-down nuts and lift off the existing tie down, keeping tools and metal parts clear of battery terminals.
Seat the battery fully in its tray. Position the new clamp over compatible J-hooks and confirm the hooks remain securely engaged. Orient the notches to clear the raised water fill caps.
Thread the included M6 x 1 flange nuts onto matching J-hooks by hand, then tighten both sides evenly until the battery is secure. Do not overtighten or deform the battery case.
Confirm the battery cannot shift and the clamp clears the terminals and cables before driving.
