Before Ordering

1. Measure your rack tubing
Use calipers or our printable measurement tool to confirm your tube diameter before selecting a size.

2. Confirm your accessory mounting
These clamps include 5/16-18 threaded holes on both sides but do not include mounting brackets, accessory plates, or accessory hardware.

3. Select the matching rack diameter
Choose the clamp size that matches your actual roof rack tubing. A slightly oversized reading is normal on powder coated racks, so a 1.75" clamp may be correct even if your rack measures slightly over 1.75".

Common reference sizes: 4Runner TRD Pro 2019–2024, FJ Cruiser 2007-2014, and Sequoia TRD Pro 2020–2022 roof racks typically use 1.75" tubing. GOBI Toyota roof racks typically use 1.00" tubing.

4. Check clearance
Confirm your planned accessory will clear your rack, vehicle, rooftop tent, and surrounding components.

Installation

1. Position the clamp
Place the clamp where your accessory, bracket, or custom project will be mounted.

2. Tighten the clamp evenly
Using a 1/4" Allen wrench, gradually tighten each bolt a little at a time. Alternate between bolts instead of fully tightening one side first so the clamp seats evenly around the tubing. Visible thread should remain when properly installed.

3. Attach your accessory
Use the 5/16-18 threaded holes to mount your own brackets, panels, lights, tools, or accessories. Confirm all hardware is secure before travel.

Mounting brackets, accessories, panels, lights, tools, and customer project parts are not included. Periodically check and tighten hardware after off-road use or long trips.
