These XL tubular clamps are designed to mount recovery boards to round roof rack tubing with adjustable positioning for a cleaner, more secure setup. Compatible with slot spacings of approximately 270mm, these mounts work with Maxtrax, ActionTrax, and TRED Pro recovery boards while keeping them accessible on the trail.

Use mounting pins compatible with your recovery boards.
Use calipers to measure the outside diameter of your round rack tubing, including the finished coating. Powder coating may produce a slightly oversized reading, so verify the nominal tubing size.

Always measure your actual rack tubing before ordering.
Space the clamps evenly along the roof rack according to your recovery board slot spacing. Confirm alignment and clearance.
Use a 1/4" Allen wrench. Gradually tighten each bolt, alternating between bolts rather than fully tightening one side first. Visible thread should remain when properly installed.
Bolt your recovery boards through the mounting holes using compatible recovery board hardware. Confirm the boards are secure before driving.
Installation is simple with basic hand tools. Periodically check and tighten hardware after off-road use or long trips.

Original I made a big mistake ordering the XL for my Xbull board, they able to send a correct one soon it was available. Used 3/8 hardware all around since 5/16 wingnuts are out of stock at my local big box stores. It’s my 3rd GZila mount, top notch quality and fast shipping with great customer service.

Hands down on this product! I used this for my MAXTRAX MKII traction board along with the mounting pins onto my Yakima Loadwarrior roof basket. The 1" diameter fit and snug well onto the bars. You guys are genius creating these products!

Worked awesome Will my inexpensive roof basket. Had to modify one set to fit the basket ( nothing to do with GZila ) and my Maxtraxx RB . They also worked great with the RotoPax mounting plate. Shovel and ax stowed away tight .
The concept behind this company is amazing and I'm surprised there are more not like it. Mounts that can be used for anything for any vehicle. The quality is above and beyond what I expected for the price. The clamps are solid! Driven on both crazy bumpy terrain and on the highway in a torrential downpour and they held fast. Will be purchasing the same set soon as they would work perfecly with my awning.
After purchasing a pair of Bunker Indust recovery boards for my 96' Discovery, I began what turned out to be a very long search for appropriate mounting hardware, most of which were a) like all 4x4 gear, ridiculously expensive b) mostly designed for the maxtrax boards and c) rarely designed for tubular roof racks. Luckily I found the more affordable Gzila tubular clamps, which fit the dimensions of the mounting holes of the Bunker Indust boards. Shipping was fast and installation straight forward. My only observation is that the technical drawing of the bar on the website doesn't exactly represent the actual item, since what I received had two long slots instead of holes at one end (see photo), which in my opinion is better than having pre-drilled holes only. Gzila should consider changing the drawing to better reflect the real item. I haven't been out with them yet so I don't know how the clamps will hold up, but they look pretty robust. All in all, I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

You can see my boards mounted in the photo. Its the only photo I had after doing other stuff but I really liked the way you can adjust the height and the way the boards ride.
Works good on my rack. Holds boards tightly. Perhaps a small amount of rubber in rack mount hole to grip abit tighter?
