Installing a roof top tent can be challenging due to the size and weight of the tent. If you are lifting the tent or installing it for the first time, we recommend having 2-3 people help with installation.

I got these for my Topoak Stellar tent and my Venom roof rack for my 4 Runner and they are way better than the stock brackets that came with the RTT. These do not bend. They fit very nice.
Purchased the 1x2 mounts to attaché my Roofnest Falcon CL to my Prinsu rack. Perfect fit, so secure! Really what these tens should come with standard considering the price tag.
Am thankful to have found a site that sold exactly what I needed. Had put my rtt on top of my rack and realized that the brackets I had weren't going to work. These mounts are very well built and so much more secure than the universal stock hardware that came with my tent. Those generic mounts are made for the standard wing shaped rails that comes with most SUV 2-rail system.
The GZila fits my rectangular 1x3” Prinsu rack bars perfectly! Also the KEPS locknuts that comes with these GZila mounts are much higher quality than standard nylon locknuts and unlike the nylons, you can turn them by hand up to where it’s flushed against the mount and then you tighten with ratchet. I’ve attached both for comparison.
We have a Jeep JKU with a Gobe Stealth rack. I have been wanting to install Thule Hullavators for a while now. The Hullavator requires a load bar that extends beyond the rack 4 to 8 inches. While planning how to accomplish this...I envisioned a bracket that would allow me to mount a commercially available load bar to the 1” diameter top tube of the Gobe rack. Somehow...I tripped across G-Zila Designs website. Eureka!!! That’s exactly what I was looking for. Soon, I will attach two Thule Wingbar EVO 150’s to my Gobe Rack using the G-Ziika Tent platform mounts for 1” dia tubing.
I am very impressed with the G-Zilla production work on these brackets. Very tight tolerances. Excellent post production finish applied. This product is not only structurally well engineered...but aesthetically pleasing as well. Once the load bars are affixed...the Hullavators will be mounted...and I will have a load assist Kayak racking system in our Jeep. No more bench pressing a 17’ and 16’ Kayak over my head.
I had been looking for some kind of mount for my tent and was having quite a hard time finding something that would work with my bed rack which I had fabricated. When I found these mounts fit 1.75" tube, I was sold immediately and have been extremely pleased! The fit and finish is fantastic, and install was a breeze. Highly recommended.

The original mounts slid side to side on my bed bars from Relentless Fab and led to the powder coating being rubbed off and some rust. My mind is at ease now with these new mounts!!! Im very excited.

Have been struggling with keeping our Mt Hood Cvt mounted securely to our Gamivitti rack with the hardware provided. The rtt would shift side to side while out wheeling and would have to add just many times during trip. Received the 1” mounts and threw them on . All I can say is well worth it and a must have . Will be changing all other rtt mounts to the Gzila mounts

I’ve had 3 roof top tents with different brackets for each. Most just give you the universal mounts for all racks. I wasn’t happy with the ones I received and started looking for other options and came across these mounts. I originally order a set of 6, 4 for my tent and 2 for my 7 gallon shower. I wanted my tent to be a little more stable and just the extra peace of mind so I added 2 more on the tent just to make sure it doesn’t go anywhere. These mounts are solid and I have zero worry of them breaking or coming loose. I wish I would have found these years ago when I bought my first RTT. Fast shipping also. They are pricey, but you defiantly get what you pay for.
Too small to go over rack
This is a great solution for those who have square bars and need to mount a rooftop tent.
I tried looking all over the place as the stock mounts were nowhere close to secure. While these are on the pricey side, they worked great so I can't complain.
These are stated to work with THULE but also worked with my INNO racks which use the same size bar. It's slightly larger than the Thule due to the coating on the inno but will still work.
Replaced my OEM tent mounts that we weak and flimsy, always squeaky. These are solid and have solved all the issues I had. Money well spent

My tent was sliding everywhere off-road and these totally fixed the issue. I ordered the wrong ones and they were super responsive and got my order changed. If you are unsure of the correct mount ask and they will help!
Fits my arb bars perfectly. Now i have a piece of mind that my rtt wont move or come loose while on the trail.
