The XL Awning Mount is built for larger, heavier 180° and 270° awnings on round tubular roof racks. Its thicker aluminum body and taller mounting arm provide added support, while extended mounting slots allow height and positioning adjustments. CNC-machined in-house in the USA from black anodized aluminum.

Use calipers to measure the outside diameter of your round rack tubing, including the finished coating. Powder coating may produce a slightly oversized reading, so verify the nominal tubing size.

Always measure your actual rack tubing before ordering.
Space the XL clamps evenly along the roof rack based on your awning’s mounting points and the awning manufacturer’s support requirements. Confirm alignment and clearance before tightening.
Use a 1/4" Allen wrench. Gradually tighten each bolt, alternating between bolts rather than fully tightening one side first. Visible thread should remain when properly installed.
Use your awning’s existing attachment hardware through the extended vertical mounting slots. Adjust height and position as needed before fully tightening the hardware.
Periodically inspect and tighten mounting hardware, especially after off-road use or long trips. Follow your awning manufacturer’s installation and load guidance.

Another great product. I have other sets for years. I used this one to mount a 5lbs fire extinguisher on my V1 steel frame GFC. The flat section of the clamp just touches the side panels.
Used the XL brackets and clamps with perpendicular adapter for gusseted awning bracket onto yakima round cross bars on an outback. Easy install and awning ready for adventure. Have bought 2 sets of these in different sizes and move my awning between vehicles.
The best option there is for mounting to a tube style rack. They seem expensive, until you hold one in your hand. I used for a ARB awning, they work perfect, zero issues
I ordered these clamps to connect to my factory Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro roof rack and they worked perfectly! The open road 270° awning I ordered came with mounting hardware but would not attach to the round tubular design of the factory roof rack. These were the perfect fit clamp style design that I needed. Not many options when it comes mounting accessories on a Rola Vortex roof rack The option for 1.5 made mounting my awning and Maxtrax super easy.
They work amazing in the TRD Pro roof rack. I have the quick release brackets mounted to the awning and they work quite nicely with the GZila mounts.
I used the 1-1/2” standard clamps to secure an ARB awning on my Intech Luna Rover trailer. They have not budged at all during the 1 year they’ve been installed. I am planning to order 2 more for a new shower room for the other side of the trailer. Great product that does its job to perfection.
These clamps fit my TRD Pro rack perfectly. The slots are spaced well and fit the Ironman 4x4 270 awning. The black anodize is nice and blends in well with the rack.

The Gzila Awning Mounts in 1” diameter works on my Land Rover Discovery safari basket rack. I used 3 Gzila mounts because the ARB Awning only supplies 3 sets of mounts bolts
